I see most of the internet business based on ad revenue, except very few direct customer service. So Google is not an exception, but with valuable service they are finding their revenue. I do believe that Internet business eco-system should change to Ad + direct service model to sustain in long run.

If you see Google + salesforce deal they are creating a new eco-system based on the SOA model.

Bottom line: Google is venturing in all possible positive ways.

It is not marriage that is the evil to be eradicated. Who is at fault? The individuals who decide to get married are at fault, and then they just divorce one day. A movie about this is The War of the Roses. This couple falls in love and gets married, but one day the woman decides that she wants out. It doesn't make sense. Why does she want to leave him? She doesn't even know.

I look back at the original post and I think...it's dehumanizing an institution of life. It's degrading life. Statistics are not the final say, they are only estimates. They are not very accurate and they only show one aspect of a problem. Any problem has at least 2 sides to it. Where is the causality? It isn't there.

How can you be objective about a subjective experience? How can you accurately measure the value of marriage or life with a standard measurement? You can't. That is what the author believes that marriage should be "eradicated", but then what? People still need companionship, they still feel the urge or need to have children. Children need 2 parents to raise and nurture them.

Think about it, before you decide to absolutely accept the author's argument. Don't secondguess yourself.

I haven't seen the movie. I might not see the movie in the future also in the urge to concentrate on oil than palace. But the write up itself is so intense that makes me feel good about my "existence". Keep up your good work, KK.

Hey... This was an excellent movie not spanning more than 90 minutes. As stated, this movies is a slow paced but you will not realize it because of the beauty of the movie editing.

Thanks kk for reviewing this movie and suggesting it...

One comment from the original post...it is a counter-argument...
"The life of a married couple is not a fairy tale, but a life of determined, passionate choices. The warm fuzzy feelings you describe as the honeymoon period occur in EVERY aspect of our lives. You get a new job and you’re excited about it for a while, then when the “fuzzies” are gone you choose to go to work every day. You find a new hobbie, or see a great movie, or learn a new card trick, or move to a new city. It all comes with a honeymoon period attached to it.

The problem with the way western society now perceives marriage is that it’s through a self-centered lens. Marriage takes work. Work is hard. Most people aren’t willing to spend the effort to get the results of a GOOD marriage. Look at the divorce rate.

To conclude, most people shouldn’t even marry in the first place. Marriage as an institution isn’t the problem, it’s the lame slackers who enter into that ageless covenant unprepared, undetermined, and unwilling to make it what it should be. They’d rather take the easy road…"

Don't wish - as you do not live in a Disney Movie...

Definite Goal and Chief Aims

When you wish upon a star – you’re just not going to go very far…

It all works great in a Disney Movie. And sometimes it even happens in real life; the great law of averages sees to that, but it is not the way you are going to succeed in life. Here is a little mission for you. Go out and ask the first twenty people you know “What they want most in life?” Nineteen of them will not even know what to say to you. But, press them a bit and from their mouths will come things like money, security, happiness, fame and fortune. Perhaps they want to be a writer or an actor, a great sports figure and even the next American Idol, but guaranteed none of them will be able to define what the terms happiness, or fame or even fortune mean. And worse none of them will have a plan with which they have hoped to attain these “wishes.” Success does not respond to a wish. Success only responds to planning, backed up by strong emotional desires and consistent persistence in the attainment of your goal! You may want to read that last sentence a few times. Personalize it and say it to yourself a few hundred times.

The four-step system to getting it all started.

1. Your definitive plan, express by continuous and incessant action.

2. Your definite purpose backed by a burning desire for its attainment.

3. Your mind tightly close to all negative influence. Those negative influences can come from places you least expect; friends, family and acquaintances.

4. Your Master Mind alliance with one or preferably more persons who will encourage and stand by you always helping you to follow your plan and your purpose.
